Short rules for using AgentPay.
These terms are intentionally plain English. If you use AgentPay, fund an account, or call POST /init, these rules apply.
1. What AgentPay Is
AgentPay provides prepaid virtual cards for AI agents. You fund a balance first, then create exact-amount cards for purchases your agent needs to make online.
2. Accounts
Accounts are created by calling POST /init. Your API key is shown once and never shown again, so you are responsible for storing it safely and controlling who can use it.
3. Funding
You fund AgentPay through our checkout flow. The minimum funding amount is $20, and once funds are credited to your AgentPay balance they are non-refundable except where law requires otherwise.
4. Cards
Cards are single-use and temporary by design. Each card self-destructs after the first successful use or when it expires, and any unused amount is automatically returned to your AgentPay balance.
5. Acceptable Use
Use AgentPay only for lawful purchases and legitimate agent or business operations. Do not use it for fraud, do not resell card details, and do not use it to get around merchant limits or restrictions.
6. Prohibited
You may not use AgentPay for illegal goods or services, gambling where prohibited, adult content where prohibited, sanctions violations, or money-laundering behavior such as structuring or smurfing.
7. Liability
We are not responsible for merchant disputes, refunds, declined transactions, or whether a merchant accepts a card. AgentPay cards may not work at every merchant, even when enough balance is available.
8. Termination
We can freeze or close accounts that violate these terms or create abuse, compliance, or fraud risk, with or without notice. If an account is closed, we will refund any remaining balance minus disputed, reversed, or otherwise owed amounts.
9. Billing Address
All AgentPay cards use AgentPay’s billing address. Do not present an AgentPay card as your personal card and do not claim that the billing address belongs to you.
10. Data
We store API key hashes, balances, and transaction records needed to operate the service. We do not sell your data, and card details are shown once at creation time and are not available again through the API.
11. Changes
We may update these terms over time. If you continue using AgentPay after an update is posted, that means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
